The steam heated patented flexible hinged bed presses the linen against a padded roll to achieve finish and improved production. The pressing action along with the moisture evacuation through the roll enables the user to both, iron and dry linen coming from the washer extractor with up to 55% moisture retention. The self-aligning hinged bed provides constant contact throughout the padding life. This system achieves an impeccable finishing quality by minimizing wrinkling of linen and ensuring minimal buildup of unwanted substances.

To ensure smooth operations, the laundry ironer is featured with V-belt drive with advanced soft start AC variable frequency inverter. Each roller features heavy-duty gear reducers, and powerful independent suction fan for moisture evaporation. One, two, three or four roll modular steam heated ironing sections are provided with the SCH ironers. Star whites ironer can be employed to save energy, speed up production, maximize efficiency and performance. Padding maintenance is simplified with the pendant jog control.
